About the Preacher

The Rev Dr Dallas Clarnette was called to preach at age 16. Later, Study for the ministry led to ordination in 1960, as a Methodist minister. From 1966 to 1992 his ministry has taken him to serve churches in various states, and also in USA, Singapore, Kenya, Cyprus and China. Since 1992 he has been a Presbyterian minister.  As an aircraft owner-operator he used aviation especially useful during his years in WA. Other calls – to college lecturing, managing a publishing company and as a CEO of a Sydney Retirement Village have broadened his sense of ministry, but preaching and pastoral work have always been his chief priorities.

He has earned degrees from Asbury and Luther Rice seminaries in USA. Now, in retirement he and his wife Beverley live in Frankston. He still preaches and spends time publishing Christian works, the latest being Courageous for Truth and Justice, the life of an eminent Christian lawyer, Dr David Mitchell.
